Puerto Rico Surfing Events 2026-27

Surfers will not be permitted to participate in any NSSA events 2026-27 if their membership has not been paid for the current season. The membership fee is $130.00. 

To ensure you can join the 2026-27 NSSA events, membership must be paid online at www.nssa.org prior to the first event. Note that the 2026-27 season membership will expire on July 4, 2027, coinciding with the conclusion of the National Championship. 

To participate in the NSSA Central America & Puerto Rico Conference events for the 2026-27 season and other Puerto Rico surfing competitions, follow these steps to get your NSSA membership:

1) Select the available event below. 

2) Choose the category you want to register for. 

3) Select the Age category from each section (as of 01/01/2027). 

4) Press "Buy now" or "Add to Cart." 

5) Fill out the participant's information in the "Shipping" section. 

6) Follow the instructions to complete the payment process. 

7) You’ll receive a notification.

To qualify for the NSSA East Coast Championships scheduled for April 30-May 4, 2027, participants must surf a minimum of 4 NSSA events during the 2026-27 season. This is in accordance with the NSSA rulebook 2025, and it’s important to note that Puerto Rico surfing competitions will also count towards these check-in points.

Missed Contests: No Refunds. Seeding Points for a missed contest MAY be permitted with email notification before the contest date VIA EMAIL – NO EXCEPTIONS. For inquiries related to NSSA events 2026-27, you can contact us at: ernie@nssapuertorico.org. 

Cancelled/Postponed Contests: If a contest is cancelled or postponed, transfers and/or points MAY be awarded. Please refer to the NSSA rulebook 2025 for more details. 

The deadline for entry is posted below. All entries received after that date will incur a $15.00 late fee per division – NO EXCEPTIONS. Late/Beach Entry for Puerto Rico surfing competitions is limited to space available in the heat draw and no-shows.
